When it comes to detailing what we can do it would be easier for us to tell you what we can't help with ... which is very little. Our company ethos is 'Never Say No' and we are regularly told that this can do attitude is why our repeat clients come back to us. We like to think of ourselves as an extra member of your team, for absolutely no extra cost but we have tried to detail below some of the things that we regularly coordinate for our production clients.
Location Research and Recommendations
Upon receiving your brief we will conduct the preliminary research required around climate, safety, cultural considerations and recommendations for appropriate filming locations outside of the villa (if required).
Where possible we will also provide you with recommendations for fixers and local production companies who can assist with the more intricate specifics of filming in the specific location.
*Although we are happy to undertake this research we do ask that our client takes a further detailed look into these areas with experts in the given field and that any information we provide serves as a guide.
Villa Rentals and Hotel Buy Outs
This is our speciality - once you have decided on a location or few we will reach out to our trusted property managers and owners to check availability and provide you with a selection of properties in line with your specific requirements. We do not add anything on to the price of our villas and claim a commission back from the owners, meaning you pay absolutely nothing extra for our service.
We have also established a relationship with some boutique hotels over the years meaning that we can also offer hotel buy outs as an alternative to villa rentals if this is more the style that you require.
Crew Hotels
At The Filming Villas we understand that a happy crew = a successful production. We know just how hard the production crew work and recognise the importance of a comfortable and relaxing base for them to come 'home' to after a long day (or night!) at work.
Once you have decided on a villa or few, we get to work on finding you the perfect place for your crew to stay. We will discuss your requirements and budget and conduct a thorough search to offer you the best and nearest options to your filming location.
We work hard to negotiate discounts, inclusions and terms with our hotel contacts to get you the best deal possible and of course we are on hand for the entire time for any changes, cancellations or extra rooms that inevitably come with managing crews on location.
Concierge Service
'Concierge Service' really is just a fancy phrase for 'everything else'.
There are fairly standard things that we can help to arrange such as car hire, airport transfers and catering but we are committed to be as helpful as we possibly can, so will try our hand at anything.
As well as the aforementioned we have helped with local mobile phones, generators, mobile offices, specific crockery for kitchens, carpenters for building temporary structures .... you get the idea.
With our experience and connections almost anything is possible!
24/7 Emergency Support
We know that productions are a 24/7 job and that's why we are there day or night should you need us.
We will connect you with the local property manager or owner but also provide our WhatsApp number so that we can assist with any out of hours emergencies that arise.
After Care
Although you might have packed up and be on your way home, our job isn't done yet.
We provide you with an after care services and will help to calibrate any payments or refunds due as well as assistance claiming back any refundable security deposits paid.
